Maximize your breakfast with these Protein Chocolate Pancakes that have a whooping 19 grams of protein per serving. These pancakes are the perfect way to start off the day!

I don’t know about you, but as a new year starts I always get excited! It’s time to leave the successes and disappoints of the last year behind us and wipe the slate clean.

For those organizational freaks like me, it’s like receiving a brand new planner in the mail. It just makes me giddy.

Living a healthy life style is usually at the top of most peoples, “goals” for the new year. And it’s usually at mine too. I try to build upon the success I had the year prior.

One of the areas I usually fall short in is the breakfast department. I’m notorious for having a granola bar, an energy bite, or a cup of coffee for breakfast. I know I know … I’m hanging my head in shame as I tell you. Because I KNOW that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s the meal that kickstarts your metabolism and if you don’t eat it, or don’t maximize it your basically shooting yourself in the foot.

When it comes to pancakes I could take it or leave it. I think part of the reason is I just feel like there’s no nutritional value in them. It’s just a big …. delicious … pile of wheat that makes me feel bloated and full.

Well, today I’m solving that problem. I’m adding the nutrients back into pancakes, increasing the flavor and making them worth starting your day with! These pancakes are fluffy, use less than 10 ingredients, are made in the blender, and contain CHOCOLATE!

Do I have your attention yet?

What if I told you that just three small pancakes contains 19 grams of protein?

What’s the trick?

Well, Burt’s Bee Protein Healthy Radiance, that’s what! I have used their lip products for the longest time, I love the vision they have for the company so when they approached me and wanted to give me first access to their new protein product it was a no brainer!

Burt’s Bee Protein Powder formulas are made with plant-based protein, which is more sustainable than animal protein – requiring fewer natural resources like land, water and fossil fuels for production and thereby having less of an impact on nature! All of their formulas are made with more than 70% organic ingredients. They really try to focus on connecting their consumers with the power and beauty of nature!.

They have a couple of different protein powder options and each one focuses on something different. The Protein Healthy Radiance, which is the one I used in these Protein Chocolate Pancakes, is enhanced with whole fruits and vegetables and antioxidants for a healthy glow

I hope you guys give it a try. I know the protein powder section of the grocery store can be sooo overwhelming with zillions of tubs, but hopefully after today you can just bee line (pun intended … hehe) straight to the Burt’s Bee Protein Powder and skip the confusion.

Instead of waking up tomorrow morning and grabbing a muffin or cup of coffee. Take 10 minutes and whip up these Chocolate Pancakes, your body will be thanking you for it later!

Bon Appetit friends!
